Welcome to the Flagstaff Rotary Club

Are you an established professional who wants to make positive changes in your community and the world? Our club members are dedicated people who share a passion for community service and friendship. Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back.
Over 25 years ago, some forward thinking Rotarians in Arizona created The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona to take advantage of the tax credit opportunities allowed by the State of Arizona.  At the same time, they created an opportunity for Rotarians to fund one of Rotary's Avenues of Service - Vocational Service.
Because TRVFA was started by Rotarians, and is run by Rotarians to this day, some mistakenly think that giving is restricted to Rotarians.  Just the opposite is true.  We need Rotarians to be our advocates with their friends, family, and business associates.  Visit our website at trvfa.org to learn more about us, so you can share our story with others.
TRVFA was created to give students an opportunity to realize their dreams.  Through completion of vocational training, they can look forward to earning a living wage to support themselves and their families.TRVFA grants change lives of vocational grant recipients and their families forever.  They move to a higher level of productivity.  They take pride in their new occupation.  They are better able to contribute to our state's economy.  Examples of TRVFA grants are tuition assistance for medical assistant training, assistance in purchasing tools for mechanics and technicians in training, purchase of required safety equipment and clothing for people learning trades.
We have made it easy to donate on-line at donate.trvfa.org. Donations to the Vocational Fund are eligible for an Arizona tax credit up to $400 per person, $800 for a joint return.  In utilizing your credit you are effectively deciding where to spend some of the income taxes which would otherwise be owed to the state.
It is not too late to give and claim a tax credit donation for 2018.  It is not too early to give in order to make your 2019 tax credit donation.
The time is always perfect to give to make a very tangible difference in the life of someone you may never meet!
Proud to serve on the TRVFA Board,
PDG Jeanie Morgan

Over 20 Flagstaff Rotarians and guests recently celebrated the season at a dinner held at the beautiful Flagstaff Ranch Country Club.  We enjoyed a fine meal and an evening of merriment while taking in the star filled night sky and mountain views.  A white elephant gift exchange featured some thoughtful gifts, including a toilet bowl night light, an emergency lantern, a tool kit, a man purse and many other fun items.  In addition, guests each brought canned food for donation to the Flagstaff Family Food Center.  Special thanks to Lisa Winborne for delivering the donated food!
