President Carla called the 13th meeting of the Rotary year to order at 12:00pm. The Pledge was led by Dino. President Carla introduced all of our visiting Rotarians and honored guests. Visiting Rotarian was Shazia Hakim, from Ontario CA Scarborough Club. Other honored guests were Gina Marie Byers and Dave Kinsey.
Shazia is currently a visiting professor at the Dine College. She is organizing a North American virtual conference for regarding the country-wide issues that Covid 19 has brought to Native Americans.

Eric Walden noted the Interact Club is working on an ongoing project called Crutches for Africa. They are having such success finding equipment they are looking for a ST storage facility.
Millicent announced the 3Q member statements have been sent out.
Paul Wagner initiated a 8 minute breakout session within the group. The club was split into groups of 4 and we were encouraged to talk!
Chad introduced our guest speaker - Doug Arnett COO of Quality Connections. Also attending was CT the manager of the office supplies group.
QC is a Flagstaff based 501(c)(3) and AZ Qualifying Charitable Organization. It was formed in 1999 to provide help for those who have barriers to success in the world. They provide employment, life skills, and living opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Their employment is 120. They are helping over 200 clients through 6 residential group homes, help with independent living, a Montessori based adult day learning center, and job training.
Their goal is to be both a good employer and a good community member through the integration and participation of disabled people in society.
Rotarians can actively support this organization through their office supplies business Quality Connection Business Services. They sell and deliver office supplies, paper, ink and toner, breakroom supplies, and janitorial supplies. They also provide electronic recycling and printer toner recycling.
