Our speaker today was Don Rowley, Publisher of the Arizona Daily Sun.  Mr. Rowley led a question and answer session which discussed the changing state of the newspaper business and mass media in general.  He mentioned the dissemination of information has changed significantly over the last decade and consumers now get their news from television, radio, social media, newspapers and the internet. Newspapers have evolved by adding digital content.  Some news sources today are unfiltered or unedited which has led to a decline in the respect for all media sources.  Rowley mentioned that consumers will eventually have to decide if they prefer news which is edited and compiled by professionals or in raw or unedited form.

Vaughan Winborne led us in the Four Way Test and President Jeff adjourned the meeting at 1:00 pm.
