On May 3rd we met in person and on zoom. We had 16 in-person members, 1 on Zoom, a speaker and 3 guests, and 3 FALA Interactors here to celebrate the May theme of Youth Service!
Club President Tonya Watson called the 19th meeting of the 2021-2022 Rotary year at 12:07 pm. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Tonya led the Club in a moment of silent reflection for hope for sustained peace throughout the world.
Eric Walden spoke on May's theme of Youth Service. Rotary sponsors several youth programs such as Interact, RYLA, Youth Exchange, Rotaract, and New Generations Service Exchange.

Golf FUndraiseR
Kathy Simmons distributed the sponsor paperwork. The online registration system will be going live as of May 15, 2022. The 2021 golfers and sponsors will receive an email with information on how to register, a tri-fold of the tournament, and the sponsor paperwork.
The Golf Committee has a goal of 100% member participation in the tournament. Some of the ways you can participate are

Our weekly ‘50-50 split the pot’ card game is aka “Hoppy Bucks”... Mike William won the honor to draw for the honor of splitting the pot but failed to win as he drew the 3 of Hearts. Someone is going to win soon!
