10 May 2025 May Volunteer event - McMilan Mesa Natural Area May 10, 2025 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM We will be Planting native plant seed and/or plants along N. Izabel St in Flagstaff, which is where McMillan Mesa Natural Area comes into the Sunnyside neighborhood. We also have a spot or two where some "rip rap" (river stones stacked in a criss-cross pattern) need to be installed to reduce erosion. This would entail working on a slope there, and probably also some jute netting. Here's a direct link to the event it's a simple process to create an account, then they'll sign up to volunteer, provide their emergency contact info, and sign the City's volunteer waiver all online.
